Connections Event Group brings decades of experience in event design, entertainment, production, logistics, and hospitality to every event we plan.
That experience helps us see both the big picture and the many details that bring a vision together. We know what to anticipate, when to adjust, and how to keep all the moving pieces on track. Most importantly, we’re there with you from the first idea through the final moments of the event, bringing your vision to life in a way that feels thoughtful, seamless, and uniquely yours.
We are known for our personalized, consultative style. By combining strategy with thoughtful design and elevated hospitality, we create corporate events that feel intentional, polished, and engaging.

I’m Chris Waterbury, founder of Connections Event Group.
After leading a New York Destination Management Company for many years, producing executive dinners, high-stakes client events, incentive programs, and company celebrations, I launched Connections Event Group to offer clients a more personal, boutique approach to event planning and design.
Throughout my career, I’ve seen how meaningful it can be to bring people together, and I believe that matters more than ever in an increasingly disconnected world. I love the creative process, from developing an event concept and creating an engaging experience to finding the personal touches that make it feel special. I’ve always appreciated the little things and believe it’s often those thoughtful details that people notice and remember. That perspective continues to influence the way we work today.
